One of the features of Journey is that it can read calendars and events from the calendar accounts that are synced with your device (iPhone, iPad or Mac), provided that you have given permission to our app to access them. This means that if you have synced your calendar accounts with your device and have granted permission to Journey to access them, you'll be able to view all of your events and calendars within our app.
However, please note that if the calendar accounts are not synced with your device or if you haven't granted permission to our app to access them, they will not be visible on Journey. Therefore, it is important to ensure that you have synced all the calendar accounts you want to access with your device and that you've granted permission to our app to access them in order to have access to all of your events and calendars within Journey.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why can't I see my calendars or events on Journey?
If you're having trouble seeing your calendars or events on Journey, it's important to note that they won't be visible if they're not visible in the default Apple Calendar app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. If they are not even visible in the default Apple app, it's very likely that you need to synchronize your calendar accounts on your device (as shown in the 2nd paragraph of this guide).
If you're only seeing your calendars and events in the Apple Calendar app and not in Journey, you'll need to grant Journey permission to access your calendars. To do this, please follow the instructions at the top of this page in the paragraph "1. Grant permission”
2. Sync issues between iPhone, iPad and MAC
It's important to note that even manual sync may not resolve the issue, because it doesn't directly control the synchronization of calendars and events. If you can't see the latest updates in Journey, it may also indicate that those updates haven't been synced with your device yet. We recommend checking the default Calendar app to see if the updates are there, as our app relies on the same data source as the default calendar app.
If your calendars or events are not synced between your iPhone, iPad and Mac please check this points.
1. External Calendars: Have you added calendar accounts on all your devices?
Here's a quick guide to check if external calendars are synced on both your iPhone/iPad and Mac:

- Under the "Accounts" section, make sure that the external calendar accounts are added and enabled. If not, add the accounts and make sure that the calendar option is turned on.

- Now, on your Mac, open the "Calendar" app and select "Preferences" from the "Calendar" menu at the top of the screen.
- Click on the "Accounts" tab and make sure that the external calendar accounts are added and enabled. If not, add the accounts and make sure that the calendar option is turned on.
- Finally,, make sure that all the external calendar accounts listed on your mac are listed also on your iPhone/iPad and vice versa. If not, you may need to add them.
By following these steps, you should be able to ensure that your external calendars are synced between your iPhone/iPad and Mac.
2. iCloud Calendars

- On your iPhone, go to Settings > Your Name > iCloud and make sure that the toggle next to "Calendars" is turned on.
- On your Mac, go to System Preferences > Apple ID > iCloud and make sure that the checkbox next to "Calendars" is selected.
- If both devices are connected to the internet and you've enabled iCloud Calendar sync on both, your calendars should now be syncing automatically.
If your calendars are still not syncing, try these additional steps:
- On your iPhone, go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts > iCloud and make sure that the toggle next to "Calendars" is turned on.
- On your Mac, open the Calendar app and go to Calendar > Preferences > Accounts. Make sure that "iCloud" is selected as the default account, and that the "Calendars" option is checked.
